The film aired on hundreds of public television stations nationwide from May 27 through June 9.
As a tribute to Wishbone's PBS roots, the filmmakers made the documentary available to public television stations across the country at no cost during its initial two-week premiere. The filmmakers and a small group of dedicated investors covered all delivery and distribution expenses themselves so that PBS audiences could enjoy the film free of charge.
Following the PBS premiere window, the documentary moved to digital platforms where purchases and rentals help support the costs of producing, distributing, and preserving independent documentaries like this one. While the film is no longer available free, we're grateful that so many viewers were able to experience it during its nationwide public television debut.
